I have been shooting sports for the last 10 years initially as a side hobby whilst going on our week-end surfing trips on the Gold Coast.

My passion for media in sports actually started at highschool. We had a radio station and I covered sports including interviews of local athletes.

I have a real passion for sports imagery and since 2012, I have improved my skills, my gear and my portfolio. I shoot primarily amateurs. I ventured into 16 different sports.

My last photography adventures brought me to cover indoor boxing with both pros and amateurs and the World Tour in Beach Volley at Torquay, Victoria.
Athletes spoke highly of the photos.

What motivates me the most is creating spectaluar imagery, freezing the action and capturing emotions but also connecting with athletes.

I got a few photos awarded - Woman In Sport Photography Australia, Nikon Mynikonlife.

I covered the Kooyong Classic in tennis as the main photographer in 2020.
This year I shot professional surfing at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach with a Nikon 600mm f4 and recently athletics with a Nikon 400mm f2.8.

The reason for applying to Getty is to unlock new possibilities and new playgrounds to improve my skills further.
I am convinced that having such a great agency supporting me will allow me to get access to main sports venues with professional athletes and therefore push my shooting skills to another level.
I would like 2023 to be the year where I progress the most in my art.
Thank you for your consideration.
